http://grammy-awards.deepthi.com/grammy-1968.html
The 5th Dimension's music was a unique blend of orchestral pop, soul, and lite psychedelia. "Up, Up and Away" reached the top 10 of the pop singles chart and helped put both the 5th Dimension and songwriter Jimmy Webb on the pop map. Johnny Rivers & Marc Gordon were the producers.
In 1968, the Grammy Awards recognized accomplishments of musicians for the year 1967.

N.Y. Times - "Memphis, Tennessee"
An editorial from a N.Y. Times writer regarding JR's version of Chuck Berry's "Memphis, Tennessee".
Johnny really has a unique guitar style and vocals, and always had a great impact with the public. It's interesting to notice that "Memphis, Tennessee" was released in 1964 by JR and there are still good things to be said about this terrific song!
